Am I living up to my own moral standards before judging others for failing to do so? It can be an immense challenge. Sometimes I'm as righteous as I am lonely in my convictions, and when that loneliness begins to drain me of hope...the odds seem so towering. How can I be enough?

One candle can illuminate a vast, dark space. One candle can continue to burn after sharing its flame with countless others. One candle is enough.

And so I do what’s right, especially when I'm the only one who will.
